The Studio
A scheme is only as good as what actually arrives. Fourteen-week lead times, a discontinued finish, a sofa that turns out to be twelve centimetres too deep for the room it was drawn into — these are design decisions, and they get made whether or not the designer is still involved.
So we stay involved. Pantone designs and procures under one roof. We specify what we can actually source, price it before we present it, and place the orders ourselves. Clients approve a scheme they can genuinely have, at a number that holds to completion.
The work is unhurried and quite plain. We are more interested in proportion, light and the way a room is used at seven in the morning than in a look that photographs well and lives badly. We take on a small number of projects at a time so that each one gets the attention it needs.

You have a scheme. We source it, buy it at trade and get it into the building.
Process
We visit the property and spend an hour on how it is actually lived in — who cooks, who works from home, where the light falls in the afternoon. We agree scope, standard and budget before any drawing begins.
Layouts, palettes and reference, room by room. We present in person and expect to revise. This stage is finished when you can picture the place, not when we have run out of ideas.
Every item selected and scheduled: dimensions, finish, quantity, supplier, lead time and cost. You sign off a complete document. Nothing appears on an invoice later that was not on that schedule.
We place and hold the orders, chase the suppliers, and manage the substitutions that any project of this kind produces. You get a live delivery schedule rather than a series of phone calls.
Deliveries received, checked and snagged before they reach you. Furniture placed, dressed and adjusted on site. The property is handed over finished, not flat-packed in the hall.
Work
A complete furnishing scheme for a private client — a two-bedroom apartment taken from empty to finished. The brief was for something quiet and durable: warm neutrals, solid timber, upholstery chosen to be sat on rather than admired.
Sourcing has run through UK trade suppliers and the January and spring fairs, with the client attending showroom visits alongside us.
We photograph projects at handover rather than mid-build, so the portfolio grows slowly and honestly. Further work is available to view on request.
Working Together
Design fees are agreed in writing before we start, based on the scope of the property rather than an hourly guess that expands.
Furniture and furnishings are invoiced at our trade cost plus a stated procurement margin. You see both figures. Clients buying through us pay less than they would retail, and we would rather show the arithmetic than bury it — a scheme people can afford to finish is worth more than one they abandon halfway.
